What musical experience do you have? I have professionally trained and performed as a Classical, pop, Rock, and Irish Vocalist/Pianist/Cellist/Violinist. I also have five years of teaching experience for all four instruments. Additionally, I have been a featured dancer in several musical productions with family band CJA.
What was your most unexpected moment? I had heard of a fantastic business opportunity during one of my school semesters. A reputable marketing company was offering college students the opportunity to implement their business/selling skills, for a grand prize of $100,00.00. After being interviewed and selected, we were all told it would be a reality tv show. During one of the preliminary meetings, I was asked to do sometihng spontaneous. Seeing that there was a stage with a micraphone set up, I jumped up and sang one of my favorite classic 1920's songs, infront of an audiance of 1500 people.
What is the best compliment you’ve ever received? I have what I like to call, a four finger forehead. Growing up I felt goofy when I pulled my hair back off of my face. After hearing my complaint about the size of my forehead, and simply stating his opinion, my brother told me that he liked my forehead, and prefered girls who had foreheads like mine.
Other than a family member, who would you consider to be your role model? I do not have one specific role model. I take inspiration from many people all the time. One of the leading qualities in people I look up to is confidence. There is nothing more beautiful than someone who knows who they are, and are not afraid to share their opinions and views with othres.
What is the best advice you’ve ever received? The best advice I've ever received was to always be myself, but more importantly, to always be the best Krystle I could be. At the end the day, we are all stuck with ourselves, so why not live every moment to its fullest potential?

A Little About Band CJA.....
Classical crossover group CJA (pronounced see-jay) consists of Joanne Jolee (vocals and keyboard), and her three daughters, Christine (violin), Leiticia (vocals and violin) and Krystle (vocals and cello).
CJA's musical style is an alchemic blend of European pop, fused with the likes of J.S. Bach and Scarlatti, Celtic folk songs, traditional Irish fiddling and spiritual and poetic influences, as well as disco, opera and techno-industrial elements.
CJA was nominated for "Best Female Band" at the Arizona Infusion Music Awards in 2001 and was named "Best Pop Band in Arizona" as part of the Dream-to-Reality Artists Awards program in 2002, the same year its first album was released.
In 2007 the band appeared on the realty show, "Next Great Amercian Band" in Las Vegas as one of 60 finalists selected from over 10,000 other bands.
CJA has appeared on Arizona TV-12 and TV-3, has performed the national anthem live at events such as the Coors Monster Trucks and Jet Cars Show (ESPN) and at NCAA men's basketball games (Fox Sports), and has given concerts at Worldport International Music Festival, the Scottsdale Festival of the Arts, the Arizona Cotton Festival, the Arizona State Fair, the Fiesta Mall, Alice Cooperstown, the Hard Rock Café, and many more.
